The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) in Uganda is mandated to manage refugee affairs, including the registration and documentation of refugees and asylum seekers. Through its Department of Refugees, the OPM is responsible for coordinating refugee-related activities across government agencies and with humanitarian partners. OPM ensures that refugees are properly registered and issued refugee identity documents.
