Digital learning is through partnerships with certified learning content providers like Microsoft Community Training , Alison, Google, CISCO and Kolibri developed by MoE&S, NCDC,NITA-U & UNICEF targeting those in the Uganda school system i.e. primary and secondary. This has made primary & secondary school content and professional skilling programs freely available to in and out of school youth.
NRC Uganda has partnered with MTN Uganda and Airtel Uganda to ensure that access to the learning sites is zero rated. This has seen a significant increase in the number of youths especially females enrolling and completing various online programs.
Services at the digital hubs
Integrated program approach
Services at the digital hubs are provided in an integrated approach which combines multiple forms of support i.e. legal aid, education, psychosocial care, livelihood training, and protection. These form a cohesive, youth-centered system. Instead of addressing needs in isolation, this approach recognizes the interconnected challenges refugee youth face and offers holistic, coordinated solutions.
