Uganda hosts refugees from diverse nationalities speaking languages like Arabic, French, Swahili, and more. Language barrier remain a major challenge to accessing services and information, especially for new arrivals. To address this, NRC is using digital technology and partnering with Arizona State University to offer language bridging services.
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is dedicated to providing education for the most vulnerable children and youth affected by displacement, ensuring inclusiveness especially of girls and children with disabilities.
